Clinical Psychologist Registrar
Amelia is a registered Psychologist with the PBA and has a Masters in Clinical Psychology (The University of Sydney). She is completing a PhD at the University of Sydney, which examines anxiety disorders in people with chronic illness.
Amelia has clinical experience working with children, adolescents and adults across hospital, school and community settings. She has worked with individuals and groups to provide assessment and treatment for issues such as anxiety, depression, childhood trauma and post-traumatic stress, behavioural difficulties, sleep problems, self-esteem and body image concerns, and difficulties with emotion regulation. She also has a particular interest and expertise in the psychological management of health conditions, such as chronic pain, asthma and epilepsy.
Amelia is also experienced in assessing for ADHD, learning disorders and giftedness. Amelia is a warm and enthusiastic psychologist who takes an evidence-based and collaborative approach to treatment.
